But it was 3pm! I cycled down Woodbridge's main shopping street without problem.

Bizarre cycle parking at the National Trust's Sutton Hoo property - it's only a couple of miles from the nearest station, why would they assume that all cyclists have lightweight road bikes?

NCN route 41 uses the sand-covered byroad to the right; to the left is an even sandier byway.

No bikes on the RSPB's Minmere reserve - there's a drivable track to the visitor centre, but you'd better wheel your bike.

To the left a footpath, to the right a parallel uncycleable bridleway - your choice.
