Narrow pavements and road so needs a 20 mph speed limit.

Poor pavements and lots of pedestrians in the road so should be a 20 mph zone.

Cars speed between schools, trying to drop off all children at different locations before 9am and similarly at collection times. If children had a safe cyclepath between home and school, car usage would decrease and make cycling more … [more]

Turn into Cycle path

No official pedestrian crossings here to allow tourists safe access to businesses and beach / public toilets.

Remove some car parking and replace with parklets with outside dining for restaurants and cafes.

20 mph speed limit for all Southwold to encourage walking and cycling.

20 mph speed limit to protect the safety of visitors to the area. Perhaps a raised crossing to help enforce this,

20 mph speed limit to encourage responsible driving as footpaths are very narrow.

Remove some parking spaces to create outside seating for restaurants and cafes so enabling social distancing. Also remove some car parking for loading only as presently unloading lorries are causing gridlock and pollution by double parking.

This pavement is supposed to be part of the National cycle network but its not clearly marked and you get pedestrians on it moaning at the cyclists being on there. It needs clear markings.

Reduce local speed limit to 20mph in ALL rural villages. Speeding traffic is the biggest reason why Villagers don't use bicycles for local journeys / leisure

Provide a park and cycle facility at Westerfield Station as part of Ipswich Garden Suburb development. To allow out of town drivers to park up and then cycle into Ipswich

The riverside walk could be widened and tarmacked from the Tidemill to Wilford Bridge to allow for cyclists

This is a very busy A road, there needs to be a separate cycle path alongside it from Woodbridge to the Bromeswell roundabout

Almost the complete length of Kirkley Cliff Rd has a cycle lane but the white line markings have faded into the tarmac they’ve never been repainted since they were introduced over 20 yrs ago? Motorists nor cyclists recognise this road as … [more]

Where Brendon Drive crosses Pond Walk (and cyclists travelling east -west) there is potential conflict, this needs recognition and the junction needs road markings, warning signs.

Heath Walk; acceptance required that this route, from Ipswich to Martlesham is used by cyclists and needs to be surfaced to accommodate. A proper cycle path across the Heath would increase the number of cyclists accessing the hospitalj

The disused bus-way is near impossible to cycle through. If it is no longer required for buses please make it cycle friendly (level surface) and help keep bicycles off the pavement.

Since the southern relief road, Church Road, Ringsfield has become a rat run out on to the B1062 from the A145. There needs to be restricted access to this road, to ensure safety of pedestrians, cyclist and environment of this very country … [more]

Moss Lane is single-track for much of its length, but s used as a rat run for traffic from the NE of Ipswich heading towards the S and W and the A14/A140. It could be a valuable cycling/walking link between Westerfield and Tuddenham.

Since the southern relief road, Church Road, Ringsfield has become a rat run out on to the B1062 from the A145. There needs to be restricted access to this road, to ensure safety of pedestrians, cyclists and environment of this very … [more]

The cycle path along Denmark Rd is absolutely shocking, I've actually had my glasses fall off its that bumpy!

There is no safe way to cycle from Oulton Broad Nth Station to the Wherry roundabout

Denmark Rd cycle track on south side of road is very rough and bumpy, this could be improved and continue up to Normanston Park rather than having to cross road

What should be a safe environment for tourist and locals to travel by bike or foot is blighted by the 30 mph speed limit this needs to be reduced to 20 mph. This will also allow safer crossing for pedestrians to access businesses.

Remove parking outside cafe & restaurants to allow for Parklets and allow more more room for social distancing for these business.

Shopping is spoiled by the constant stream of vehicles and parked cars using the Thoroughfare. Install a pop up bollard operated by a touchless payment system for access. Perhaps charging a £1?

This is a national speed limit, with no foot or Cycleway. Putting in a pavement / cycleway would help children walk/ cycle to school, as well all ages. This can help the village of Hollesley reduce the carbon footprint.

Cars parked on cycle marked path .bad markings and cycle path condition very poor

The pavements are shared cycling/pedestrian pathways but social distancing makes them impossible to cycle over. However there are 3 lanes for motorised traffic crossing the bridge. This could be reduced to 2 lanes and half a lane on either … [more]

A lot of cyclists use this route. I suggest the reduced speed limit (40/30)through Somerleyton is expanded to include this area, where there is a tight corner.

Very busy hill with footpath up to Sutton Hoo. A shared path would make cycling safer and easier and segregate cycles from the road

Busy road, needs proper bike line. The current bike path further east is very poor with terrible tarmac

The footbridge over the railway is a narrow pinch point on the shared cycle/walking route from the Wherry Hotel to The Flying Dutchman: the approaches to footbridge could also be usefully improved.

Harrison Road could be a useful link to complete a walking/cycling almost traffic free route from Oulton Broad to the town centre. It would need to have the surface improved, and a pelican/toucan crossing over Bridge Road near the Harrison … [more]

Narrow rough track from here to cycleway in Normanston Park: difficult to get bikes over the railway bridge despite the installed wheel gutters (which are a help). To further improve walking & cycling between the town centre and Oulton … [more]

Too many cars using the town centre for parking, centre should be pedestrianised

The pavements in Quay Street, Woodbridge are inadequate: on one side of the road the pavement is incomplete, and on the other side it is very narrow. The street is important as the main pedestrian entry into the town centre from the railway … [more]

The cycle lane through Trimley needs remarking or removing. At present it is neither one thing or the other, so you never know if a car driver is going to respect the lane or not. Also parked cars throughout.

Make this one way to cars from Morton Hall Road, in order that cars can only travel Ipswich to Felixstowe, if they want to go the other way use the adjacent A14. This road is creating daily cycle and car conflicts.

Traffic goes fast and is intimidating. A safe cycleway is needed between Benhall and Kelsale through Saxmundham.

Bungay St. Mary's Street into Earsham Street. Whilst classed as an 'A' road (A144) it is too narrow for cars, HGVs and cycles. I think it deserves to lose its 'A' status. HGVs struggle to navigate the town's narrow roads. There is adequate … [more]

Close except buses/cycles/foot Murrills Road between the Sainsbury's fuel station and the residential streets to discourage driving to the nearby shops.

The footpath between Grayson drive and the water tower is very narrow. There is no path on the opposite side of the road. The path is also overgrown with trees and shrubs impinging on the path.

There is the start of a cycle lane, however cars are consistently parked in the lane and the lane ends abruptly.
